Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members,

 

WOW!!! What a day today has been. We are in the midst of Science day. Every minute of every day, this school and this community never cease to amaze me with their many talents and their willingness to contribute to our school! The sessions this morning have been tremendous and I wish that you could see the look on your children’s faces . . .

 

A HUGE thank you to Susan Cushman and her crew of volunteers for the planning that went into this day! Thank you also to Lara Judd and our great 5^th grade students for the fantastic science presentations they have done the past couple of weeks. They will be finished with presentations this afternoon when they present to the other students in the school!

 

On Friday, March 12 our school PTO will be sponsoring a program for our students. We will be treated to a performance by Sara Hickman. She will be performing for grades 3-5 at 8:00 a.m. and for K-2 at 9:00 a.m. Parents are welcome to join us! If you have never been to one of her performances, you are in for a real treat…thank you to all PTO members for the magnificent programs your donations bring to our school!

 

We are also revving up for our newest batch of Mustangs, our future kindergarten students. Kinder Round-up will be Thursday, March 25. Please tell neighbors or friends who live in our school area about it. It is a great experience!

 

Finally, I would like to remind everyone that we will be on Spring break from March 15- March 20. Enjoy your families, be safe, and then be ready to “rock and roll” when we get back!   When we return, we only have around 10 weeks of school left . . . YIKES!!!
